Working with Soundfonts

A Soundfont is a file containing several sample-based instruments.

Some Music Devices are capable of working with .dls and .sf2 soundfonts.
  1. select Preferences… from the OSCMidicPlayer menu
  2. click on the General tab
  3. select a Soundfont capable Music Device (e.g. DLSMusicDevice) from the Music Device menu.
  4. click the OK button
  5. select <Current Music Device> Settings… from the OSCMidicPlayer menu
  6. select a Soundfont from the Sound Bank menu.
